Troop Travel Training introduces leaders to the basics of planning a trip with a group of Girl Scouts. GSUSA & Safety Wise rules will be reviewed. Participants will be introduced to the necessary paperwork that must be completed and common mistakes to avoid. Information will be given on paperwork due dates, why particular information is needed, tips for traveling with a large group (specifically kids that are not yours). Travel progression will be discussed, including how to integrate education pieces into the fun. This is a great training to attend for the first time or as a refresher.
Pre-requisites: Be an appointed volunteer, a registered adult Girl Scout
